Cutting Edge Webinar 1: Dignity & Reality

Following the publication of God’s Heart for Child Protection and Safeguarding, there will be three Cutting Edge webinars in September, October and November 2026. These sessions will be an opportunity for us to explore together how churches and faith-based organisations can respond to some of the most acute challenges that are preventing children from being safe.

Together, we’ll explore why safeguarding matters, learn from global voices, and engage in a conversation about how churches and organisations can create safer environments where children can flourish.

The session will explore two foundational truths:

• Every child is created in the image of God and has inherent worth, dignity, and value.
• The reality of sin means that abuse, exploitation, and neglect affect children in every culture and context.

We’ll hear from speakers working on issues including child trafficking, online sexual exploitation, and child marriage, alongside practical insights into how safeguarding can be strengthened in churches and organisations.

When?
On each day, the webinar will be repeated, so the session will run twice, at the times below; the second time will have Spanish translation.
